- (A classic textbook that explains the principle of energy and how it works in our lives. Not a Reiki book.)

- (A wonderful book for anyone looking for the perspective of a real Japanese teacher in the lineage of Usui.)

- (This book is a great addition to any beginning Reiki practitioner's library. It presents an honest, thorough, and easy to read account of the practice of Reiki.)

- (A good book for information about Reiki's links to Buddhism. Recommended more for the advanced Reiki practitioner, not so much for beginning Reiki I and II's. This book mixes a lot of research with the personal opinions of the author, and we encourage the reader to keep this in mind while perusing this book.)

- (An introduction to Reiki that includes some of Mr. Lubecks own ways of creatively practicing Reiki.)

- (A clear and interesting look at the origins and practice of Reiki in Japan today, explained by a European man who is currently co-teaching in Japan with his Japanese wife.)

- (A follow up to Reiki Fire, this book includes more information about the origins of Reiki, including a lot of text about Dr. Usui and they way he taught Reiki.)

- (The Best research I've read so far on the history and evolution of Reiki. It's required reading for my Reiki Master Teacher Students. There are so many aspects of the reiki techniques who's origins were, until now, a mystery. I like this book!)

- (A translation of what appears to be some of the information in Dr. Usui's original student handbook.)

- (I love David's way of encouraging the reiki practitioner to be confident and use their practice to follow their heart!)

- (Originally thought to be a breakthrough, claiming to have discovered and translated Dr. Usui's lost notes, the validity of this book (and Lama Yeshe's teaching) has since been discredited, or at least called into question by his students.)
