  • Studying different learning styles, teaching techniques and Reiki materials
  • Role Playing
  • Business Development/Assistance
  • Historical and Professional Research
  • One-on-one mentoring
  • Assisting and Observing a Reiki I or Reiki II Course
  • Requirements outside of class for giving Reiki to yourself and others, as well as receiving Reiki from others

Reiki Master - Fall 2010 Semester:

All students are advised to purchase student liability insurance, in addition to the cost of tuition, and provide proof of insurance by the first day of class. Student Liability Insurance is different than health insurance; it insures that students are covered/protected in class, clinic and in all school-sanctioned activities, against any alleged damage or injury to a client. You can purchase your insurance from any legitimate provider. Both the ABMP (Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals) and the IARP (International Association of Reiki Professionals) offer student insurance. If you already have professional liability insurance that covers Reiki, you do not need to purchase student insurance. Simply submit to us your proof of professional coverage. You will be given information on how to purchase this insurance in your student orientation package. If you choose not to purchase student insurance, you will be required to sign a 'student certification of insurance coverage opt-out '. This form states that you've been advised of the benefits of student liability insurance and have chosen not to purchase it.
